Due to the $8,000 tax credit to first home buyers and the low prices due to foreclosures, it seems like the buying frenzy is back. I showed houses on Saturday and literally there were two agents behind me waiting for me to get out for them to show. This is in the Spring Hill/Royal Highlands area. I called on ten "active" listings on Friday to show a customer in the Royal Highlands and when I went to schedule the appointments, nine of them were gone. One agent said she had ten offers on a house.
The smart people are buying now.
